My name is Anne , and I am a first generation Vietnamese-American! I am a first year medical student at an osteopathic medical school. I went to the University of Texas at Austin (hook ’em!) for college, and recently graduated with my Masters in Medical Sciences at The University of North Texas Health Science Center. During my 3.5 years of undergrad, I majored in Honors Human Development and Family Science, did extensive research on child development, was involved in Kappa Rho Pre-Medical Honor Society, went to Honduras for a mission trip with Global Medical Brigades, studied abroad in Italy, and became a youth leader for my church. In grad school, I mostly focused on my studies but was also involved in a community service organization.
I started this blog in 2016 as a way for me to express my creative outlet and offer support for others pursuing medicine. I understand how hectic and stressful life can get for the average premed, and I want to offer advice and tips based on my own experiences! I hope you’ll enjoy this journey with me and find my content helpful, and if not, I hope you will enjoy reading it. Please don’t ever hesitate to reach out to me. Whether your question is “how do I study for biology?” or “What the heck is D.O.?” I look forward answering your questions and getting you on your way to pursue your dreams.
I can also be reached at email@example.com for question and inquiries!
